I have 40 years experience in The Health and Social Care sector, having realised through voluntary work early on, that I wanted to work with and support people.
Over the last 20 years, I have progressed through the ranks in Learning Disability Services to become a manager in positions such as: Support Worker, Service Manager, Area Manager, Divisional Director and Regional Director Southeast England. This was across the Private, Voluntary and Local Authority sectors On my journey, I have attained an array of sector specific qualifications.
TLC family’s values certainly match mine, and I am delighted to have found and been welcomed by this outcome-driven, professional work environment.
In my spare time, I enjoy Art, the Theatre, walking and travelling.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. You meet various personalities, whether it be residents, relatives or team members and they all have their own story. They all teach us different things and have helped shape us into better people.
We have learnt to listen, to be kind and compassionate, to put ourselves in other people’s shoes and most of all to accept our weaknesses and find ways to make them into strengths.
