FAQ

We offer 4 types of care services: · Residential care – services for those who require partial assistance with daily activities. · Nursing care – for those with complex health needs such as multiple sclerosis, rehabilitation following a stroke or Parkinson’s disease for example. For these conditions qualified nurses will be on hand 24-hours a day. · Dementia care – At TLC we offer tailored dementia care for residents at all stages from early onset to the later stages. We optimise and closely monitor our care plans, to ensure our dementia residents are safe and cared for with compassion. Our homes have a dedicated floor for Dementia resident’s. We ensure that our daily activities plan are implemented to stimulate the mind. · Respite care – this option is typically sought after by residents who have recently undergone an operation or if you have recently spent some time in hospital and require some respite before going back home. This form of care is also available to provide your existing carer with a break.

Our weekly charge will depend upon the type of care you require and the type of room you would like. It’s best to arrange a call with your local care home to discuss options.

Our care fees include 24hr care, 3 meals per day with a variety of choices & textures, accommodation, provision of the nurse calling system, utilities, laundry, housekeeping, provision of standard equipment and activities.
You can get in contact with us using the ‘book a visit‘ form on the website. Alternatively, you can call the home directly on the number listed on the ‘Our homes‘ page. You can also email the home directly from this page.

One of the maintenance team should be available to help with personalising the room. A key person should also be assigned to you for the day, to show you both how everything works.
We can accommodate couples in separate rooms dependent on room availability.
We are typically open 24hrs a day for visitors. However,  at this current time we are aligned with government measures to conducting visits in an organised, safe and socially distant manner.
