As the care sector awards season comes to a close, we are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our team members across TLC Care.
This year marks a record for TLC Care, with 41 team members/ or departments shortlisted as finalists for external awards across a wide range of categories and 11 of these going on to win awards. These achievements reinforce a belief at the heart of TLC Care that great people give great service. It is the commitment and compassion of our teams that shape the experience of our residents and strengthen our communities.
Our success this year reflects the hard work and passion of the people who make TLC Care what it is. Our people are our greatest asset and we are proud to see their dedication recognised across the care sector.
Alongside these individual successes, TLC Care continues to demonstrate excellence at an organisational level. We hold Hospitality Assured World-Class status and maintain Platinum accreditation with Investors in People. We have also achieved both BSI ISO9001 and ISO14001. Recent mid-year reviews by BSI, Hospitality Assured and Investors in People were all highly successful which further reinforces our focus on people, quality and continuous improvement.
Lorna Russell, Managing Director, said: “Our people are at the heart of what we do. I am so proud of our team members, both individually and collectively, on their record achievements. They work incredibly hard to serve our residents and are always looking to improve themselves. Their passion and commitment drive us forward to be at our very best. Congratulations to all our worthy winners and finalists – you rightly deserve these accolades as we continue to set industry standards! Thank you for the difference you make every day and for bringing our values to life through everything you do.”
