Bringing Warmth, Wisdom, and Community Together
With spring gently unfolding, our TLC Care homes are buzzing with heartwarming events and meaningful connections. From soulful spiritual gatherings to lively Sunday lunches, we’ve been celebrating the joy of community in every way possible.

The much-loved Host Your Roast event, which began at Camberley Manor last year, has blossomed across several of our homes including Cooperscroft, Cherry Hinton, Carlton Court, Cambridge Manor, and Cuffley Manor. A delicious roast lunch served with live music and laughter, this special Sunday affair has quickly become a cherished tradition—bringing together families, residents, and local communities for an afternoon of warmth and cheer.

At Cuffley Manor, residents and neighbours took to Oakmere Park for a community walk that was as much about connection as it was about movement. As one resident beautifully put it, “It’s been absolutely lovely to meet new people and feel so connected to nature.” In partnership with Hertfordshire Health Walks, the stroll brought joy, conversation, and a shared appreciation of the outdoors.
Kailash Manor’s monthly Bhagavad Gita Wisdom Circle continues to inspire, offering a peaceful space for spiritual reflection in collaboration with ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor. Guided by experienced devotees, these gatherings offer a rare opportunity for intergenerational learning, connection, and inner peace.
Meanwhile, Karuna Manor has launched the deeply moving Spiritual Dementia Café, also in partnership with the Hare Krishna Temple. Blending devotional music, meditation, and storytelling, this holistic initiative has brought comfort, joy, and familiarity to individuals living with dementia and their families. The positive response has been overwhelming, and the sessions will now run bi-monthly.
At TLC Care, every event is a step towards building community, enriching lives, and spreading joy. We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming celebrations this spring!
