Care Home Open Week 2025

We’re excited to be part of Care Home Open Week! At TLC Care, all of our homes have planned a fantastic line-up of creative and meaningful activities designed to bring joy, connection, inspiration and valuable information to our residents and local communities.

From Monday 16 to Friday 22 June 2025, TLC Care will be welcoming the public as part of Care Home Open Week, a national initiative organised by Championing Social Care. This week-long event aims to connect care homes with their local communities, challenge misconceptions about care and celebrate the dedication of care professionals.

Our group of nine care homes is proud to participate in this celebration. We believe in showcasing the vibrant, supportive environments we provide, where residents lead fulfilling lives enriched by meaningful activities and compassionate care.

Open Doors, Open Hearts

Care Home Open Week offers an opportunity for families, friends, and community members to step inside our homes and experience the warmth and camaraderie that define our communities. Visitors can engage with residents and staff, participate in activities, and see firsthand the positive impact of quality care.

Community Engagement

Celebrating the Power of Music

This year’s Care Home Open Week theme, ‘The Power of Music,’ underscores the therapeutic benefits of music, especially for those living with dementia. In collaboration with Music for Dementia, we will host musical activities that promote wellbeing and joy among our residents.
