I am an experienced Home Manager that has worked in the care industry as a Registered Manager for over 7 years. Prior to this, I was a general manager in four and five star hotels, with a master’s degree in hospitality management.
I joined TLC Camberley Manor Care Home in June 2023 to provide outstanding care for our residents and their loved ones and build a team that works together as one and makes us the perfect home.
Outside work, I love cooking, time with family & football and am an avid Liverpool supporter. I also love to travel, to experience different cultures and cuisines and am proud to have visited over 30 countries all over the world so far.
Albert Joy
Home Manager
Albert Joy joined Camberley Manor in October 2022 as Care Services Manager.
A qualified Registered Nurse since 2010, Albert completed his training in India and brings over eight years of diverse clinical experience across hospital and pre-hospital settings in India, Dubai and the UK. He has a strong background in accident and emergency care and most recently served as a Deputy Charge Nurse within the NHS, where he further honed his clinical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Albert was drawn to the TLC Group by its commitment to creating an exceptional workplace and a cohesive team environment focused on delivering the highest standards of care.
Gabi Biteanu
Hotel Services Manager
My name is Gabi, and I joined the TLC family in 2016 as Wellbeing Lead and am now the Hotel Services Manager. My role is to ensure our residents have the very best customer service from our Dining, Maintenance, Wellbeing and Housekeeping Team. It is so important to me that our residents feel welcome in their home and that their families do too. I am extremely passionate about the standards here at Camberley Manor and that we continuously offer an outstanding service to our residents
Salika Handi
Finance and HR Manager
Salika Handi is an accomplished Finance and HR Manager with over 15 years of international experience spanning the banking and hospitality sectors in the UK, Qatar and
Salika holds dual Master’s degrees – an MBA from Kingston University and an MBS from the University of Colombo – bringing a robust academic background to complement her practical expertise.
Since joining TLC in December 2023, Salika has played a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of both finance and HR functions. Her passion for resident wellbeing and her commitment to delivering exceptional service are reflected in her approach to supporting not only residents, but also their families and visitors.
Salika’s dedication to fostering a warm, inclusive, and compassionate environment is a true embodiment of TLC’s values of Truth, Love and Compassion, which she brings to life in every aspect of her work.
