Girlie Braga, our dedicated Home Manager at Camberley Manor Care Home, joined TLC in 2024, bringing 25 years of invaluable care experience. Originally from the Philippines, she has called the UK home for a quarter of a century. With a diverse background spanning roles from healthcare assistant to Home Manager, Girlie is deeply committed to resident wellbeing, team development, and family support. Her passion for nutrition and welfare extends beyond the care setting, reflecting her holistic approach to life. Outside of work, she cherishes family time and eagerly mentors colleagues to foster growth and progress. Girlie embodies professionalism, compassion and leadership in her every endeavour.
Albert Joy
Home Manager
Albert Joy joined Camberley Manor in October 2022 as Care Services Manager.
A qualified Registered Nurse since 2010, Albert completed his training in India and brings over eight years of diverse clinical experience across hospital and pre-hospital settings in India, Dubai and the UK. He has a strong background in accident and emergency care and most recently served as a Deputy Charge Nurse within the NHS, where he further honed his clinical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Albert was drawn to the TLC Group by its commitment to creating an exceptional workplace and a cohesive team environment focused on delivering the highest standards of care.
Salika Handi
Finance and HR Manager
Salika Handi is an accomplished Finance and HR Manager with over 15 years of international experience spanning the banking and hospitality sectors in the UK, Qatar and
Salika holds dual Master’s degrees – an MBA from Kingston University and an MBS from the University of Colombo – bringing a robust academic background to complement her practical expertise.
Since joining TLC in December 2023, Salika has played a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of both finance and HR functions. Her passion for resident wellbeing and her commitment to delivering exceptional service are reflected in her approach to supporting not only residents, but also their families and visitors.
Salika’s dedication to fostering a warm, inclusive, and compassionate environment is a true embodiment of TLC’s values of Truth, Love and Compassion, which she brings to life in every aspect of her work.
