Home Manager, Candlewood House Care Home
I first studied advanced nursing in China during the 1980s. Over the years, I have expanded my career across different countries, from the Middle East to eventually settling in the UK. After successfully completing the NMC Overseas Adaptation Programme, I have been dedicated to Intensive Care Nursing within the NHS Trust since 2006. Throughout my career, I have always maintained an unwavering passion for clinical service improvement and delivering excellent treatment and care for those who are in need most. This led me to pursue an MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare at Imperial College London in 2010 and later an MBA at Cranfield University School of Management to consolidate my business acumen and leadership skills in 2013.
Coming from a medical family background, I have always carried a deep sense of compassion. My professional journey took a turn, from acute care to Clinical Governance then the Elderly Care. At Candlewood House Care Home, I am excited to develop and support our team to provide the best possible care to our residents. Our overarching passion is to enrich the lives of our residents, team members and the local communities we serve.
