Cambridge of the Past – The Cambridge Museum

Come and join us for a history lesson! We are welcoming a member of the team from the Cambridge Museum who will treat our residents to a look back at our amazing city, providing insight and exhibits direct from the museum. Cambridge is a university city and the county town of Cambridgeshire, England, on the river Cam approximately 50 miles north of London. Its population according to the census of 2011 was 123,867, including 24,488 students. Cambridge was an important trading centre during the Roman and Viking ages, and there is archaeological evidence of settlement in the area as early as the Bronze Age.
