The concerns and needs of our residents and their family members are at the centre of everything we do. We cherish the positive comments we receive from them.

They provide us with encouragement and confidence to keep striving for the best. Here are a few examples of the many acknowledgements we have received at Cooperscroft:

“This is a very modern and extremely comfortable care home staffed by wonderfully caring staff. My mother aged 95 has been a resident for just over a year and my siblings and I are delighted with the way in which my mother is cared for in such a caring and loving environment. It gives us enormous comfort to know she is safe and comfortable surrounded by dedicated staff. She and we count ourselves as being extremely fortunate and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cooperscroft to anyone who is thinking about a care home for a loved one.”

“Cooperscroft is a gem!!! My brother found this wonderful home for my 95 year old mother who is looked after on a daily basis by the most caring, thoughtful and happy staff. I live in the US and being so far away I need to know that my mother experiences the same care as she would receive from her own children. There is no doubt in my mind that we could do no more for her than the wonderful people who take care of her every day. We truly give thanks that we found Cooperscroft and its very special staff, who go above and beyond to make each and every resident’s day a happy one.”

“I am happy with the care my husband receives from the helpful and cheerful staff. He enjoys going to ‘The Chequers’ pub nearby and weekly visits from a therapy dog. The house and gardens are beautifully kept and the outdoor area was the venue for a dog show, sports day and an excellent BBQ with first class entertainment which was popular with residents and the families of staff. The ‘Pantry’ is a good meeting place for social games and refreshments” My dad has been at Cooperscroft since May 2016 as he needed care and nursing. Choosing a home is stressful. We didn’t know anyone to use for a recommendation. From the initial home visit to moving in and meeting the nursing/care team, the staff are so friendly and caring, working hard to get to know dad’s likes and dislikes from food to the many activities. There is a cafe so I can take my dad in his wheelchair, have a cup of tea, cake and a chat. If it’s fine, there is a beautiful, accessible garden and he enjoys getting outside and watching the ducks in the pond. Little areas of seating have been thoughtfully created around the garden too. There are regular events. In the last few weeks, there has been a dog show where relatives brought their dogs in for a bit of fun, with a BBQ, (food was fab) singers and a garden fete. There is a weekly ‘doggie’ visit and even trips to the local pub. It does feel very much like a family and I leave happy that he is looked after by a kind, thoughtful team.”
